What You'll Be Doing

  • Work enthusiastically, respectfully and collaboratively with other project team members throughout the project lifecycle, including client meetings and brainstorms
  • Acquire competent knowledge of client’s business objectives, brand, culture and landscape to inform insightful design ideas
  • Understand the creative direction set forth for each project and develop work that supports that direction
  • Routinely support account managers by providing updates to the creative director and chief creative officer
  • Meet regularly with project managers, account managers and staff to coordinate agency efforts on behalf of assigned clients/accounts
  • Report on all client meetings and relay information to appropriate agency personnel
  • Quickly and accurately relay Work Change Orders to all appropriate agency personnel
  • Effectively present, sell and defend all agency work/proposals to clients; support other client service team members in these functions
  • Assist in preparing client invoices, proposals and marketing planning
  • Regularly check for and respond promptly to all client communications, including calls, faxes and emails
  • Check and approve creative material, copy, layouts and production art before coordinating approval from the client
  • Assist account managers by coordinating project timelines and budget with all relevant agency personnel
  • Actively seek additional projects/new business from client contacts
  • Ensure approved copy conforms to style guides

Desired Skills & XP

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Communications, Journalism or equivalent field
  • Relevant experience: 2–4 years (preferably with an agency background), or an extraordinary portfolio
  • Expert proficiency: MS Office Suite, iWork applications and AP Style
  • General fluency: B2C and B2B marketing
  • Strong verbal communication skills: The ability to articulate your creative process, thoughts and ideas
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: A positive attitude, a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Self-motivation: You can figure it out and get it done
  • Team player: Work and play well with others in a fast-paced setting
  • Deadline-driven: Experience working on multiple projects at the same time (including organizing and prioritizing workload and working efficiently under deadline-driven pressure)
  • Detail oriented: A devotion to accuracy and proper grammar
