Content Writer

A Scorch Content Writer is a technology marketing writer with a strong content marketing background. Skilled, strategic, creative, resourceful, and charismatic, they are a quick learner and a self-starter who is comfortable working with other creatives as well as independently, conducting their own background research, brainstorming with a team, and leading client and customer interviews. The Content Writer is responsible for being the arbiter of brand voice and standards for each client, for leading research as it pertains to a particular project or asset, and for writing content for all elements of a project as needed, from e-books and emails to infographics and metadata.

Work enthusiastically, respectfully, and collaboratively with other client team members throughout the project lifecycle, from kickoff to client meetings to brainstorms to production to client presentations.
Acquire competent knowledge of clients’ brand, culture, business objectives, and industry landscape to inform insightful content ideas.
Understand the content strategy and direction set forth for each project and develop assets that support that direction.
Translate and apply best practices in content marketing to all projects and assets.
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and assignments while keeping track of hours and deadlines for each.
Prepare and present copy to Content Director, according to best practices.
Incorporate revisions per client and/or team feedback, as appropriate.
Ensure approved copy conforms to client style guides and is free of grammatical errors.
Write blog posts and social posts as needed for the agency, ensuring consistent messaging across Scorch social media channels, to build awareness and develop industry and client relationships.
Assist Chief Strategy Officer and/or Content Director in the development of functional content calendars where necessary to define strategy.
Provide day-to-day research support.
Summarize key analytical insights in a clear, concise manner for use in content materials.

What we’re looking for in a Content Writer:
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience writing long and short-form content, such as e-books, emails, social media posts, blog posts, landing pages, infographics, video scripts, and more.
Comfort with writing about technology, including the cloud, data, AI, telecommunications, and cybersecurity, and taking complex, technical subject matter and breaking it down for a business audience inside of a content marketing funnel.
Excellent interviewing, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Account Manager

A Scorch Account Manager is responsible for the alignment and growth of key strategic accounts for Scorch. This role must develop relationships at a senior level, identify requirements and ensure the smooth cross-market rollout of new campaigns and initiatives. The Account Manager will be a point of daily client contact and manage key projects across the agency. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for coordinating and maintaining client relationships and will be assigned client accounts to manage daily workflow, relay and represent the client’s needs when preparing creative briefs and providing creative feedback. The Senior Account Manager will provide issues management and conflict resolution, ensure timely deliverables and is quality control on the account. In this role, the manager actively pursues new opportunities with the client and is the go-to person for the client/brand/project.

7+ years of relevant work experience.

You will cooperate with a design-savvy team to devise an overall concept.

What we’re looking for in a Designer:
5+ years of relevant work experience.
Hands-on experience with logo design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection, and package design.
Proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. Including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and, ideally, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well.
Team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
